About Me
About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Swakopmund. I completed my undergraduate and honours studies in South Africa, during which time I worked with a range of community based projects in underdeveloped communities with the aim of making mental health services more accessible to all. I then returned to Namibia where I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Namibia.
Prior to working in private practice, I worked with teens, adults and groups struggling with a variety of mental health issues including trauma and stressor related disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and interpersonal challenges in inpatient, outpatient, and hospital-based programs.
I am passionate about facilitating a space where clients feel better equipped and supported to engage with the various challenges that they encounter. I work with a strong relational focus, with the aim of utilizing the therapeutic relationship to provide the base for clients to develop deeper insights about themselves, uncover limiting patterns that might be holding them back and implement new and more sustainable ways of being.
I believe that life’s challenges are an opportunity to explore current barriers, identify new goals and possibilities, and work toward achieving long-term growth throughout life.
