About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Swakopmund. I completed my undergraduate and honours studies in South Africa, during which time I worked with a range of community based projects in underdeveloped communities with the aim of making mental health services more accessible to all. I then returned to Namibia where I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Namibia.
Prior to working in private practice, I worked with teens, adults and groups struggling with a variety of mental health issues including trauma and stressor related disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and interpersonal challenges in inpatient, outpatient, and hospital-based programs.
Services Offered
Individual Sessions
My individual therapy sessions offer a safe and confidential space for clients to explore personal challenges, emotional distress, and mental health concerns. Together, we work collaboratively to develop coping strategies, gain insight, and foster personal growth, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every individual.
Couples Sessions
Couples therapy provides a supportive environment for partners to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen their understanding of each other. Through evidence-based techniques and interventions, I assist couples in navigating relationship dynamics and strengthening their connection.
Family Sessions
Family therapy sessions focus on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger family bonds. Whether addressing parent-child relationships, familial conflicts, or significant life changes, I work with families to create a healthier and more supportive family system.
